Looking for a career counselor in Karachi? The Meeting Matters is a psychology practice in Islamabad, working since 2010. We do not have a clinic in Karachi. Our career counselors and psychologists see Karachi students and professionals online by secure video, in Urdu or English, so you can talk through your options from home. Career counseling helps you choose a subject group, degree or career, change direction, or understand why your current path feels wrong.
Ready to talk to someone?
School students choosing a subject group after matric or O-levels, college students choosing a degree after FSc or A-levels, university students unsure about their field, graduates facing the job market, and working professionals who want to change careers or are burnt out. Karachi has a wide range of universities and institutes, including the University of Karachi, NED, IBA, Aga Khan University, FAST and Dow, and a fast-moving job market, so choices can feel overwhelming.
Sessions are guided conversations, not lectures. We look at your interests, strengths, values and marks, and at the options in front of you. We talk through family expectations, which are a big part of career decisions in Pakistan. You leave with a clearer shortlist and next steps. Career counseling cannot promise a guaranteed answer, but it makes the decision clearer and more your own.
Career confusion often comes with exam stress, anxiety, low confidence or pressure from family. Because our counselors are psychologists, they can work on that too. See our pages on student counseling and exam stress, anxiety symptoms and how to stop overthinking.
You do not need to travel across Karachi. All we need is a phone or laptop, an internet connection and a private space. Our main pages: career counseling, career counseling for students, career counseling in Pakistan, and our guides on what to study after matric and career after FSc.
If you would also like support for stress, anxiety or relationships, see our psychologist in Karachi and therapist in Karachi pages.
Our career counselors and psychologists see students and professionals by secure video from anywhere in Pakistan, or in person at our F-11/1 clinic in Islamabad, in Urdu, Punjabi or English, with evening and weekend slots. Message us on WhatsApp with what you are deciding and a time that suits you. We usually reply within about 30 minutes and will suggest a suitable career counselor.

βI am truly grateful to Ms. Tasmiya Asghar and the team at Meeting Matters. I reached out during one of the most difficult periods of my life while dealing with grief and trying to be the best parent I could be for my children. Ms. Tasmiya's kindness, empathy, and guidance helped me navigate emotions that often felt overwhelming. She helped me understand my feelings, regain perspective, and think through practical ways of supporting my children and myself. I always felt respected, heard, and comfortable during our sessions. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Tasmiya Asghar and Meeting Matters to anyone going through a challenging time and looking for professional support in a compassionate environment.β
