After FSc you can go to medical or dental college, study engineering, computer science, pharmacy, physical therapy, nursing, biosciences, psychology, business or law, depending on your group and marks. The right choice depends on your interests, strengths, results and family situation. Admission rules, entry tests, merit and fees change every year, so always confirm them on the university's own website before you decide.

MBBS and BDS (through the medical entry test), Pharm-D, DPT (physical therapy), BS nursing, medical lab technology, radiology and imaging, biosciences, biotechnology, zoology, botany, public health, nutrition, BS psychology, and, with additional steps, business and law. Many students apply to several options at once so they have a plan if medical seats do not work out.
Engineering degrees (civil, electrical, mechanical, chemical and others, through university entry tests), BS computer science, software engineering, data science and AI, architecture, physics and mathematics degrees, and business degrees such as BBA.
BS computer science, software engineering, information technology, data science, AI and cybersecurity, as well as BBA and other business degrees. Strong maths opens more doors.
Students from any FSc group can study BS psychology. Psychology leads to clinical, counseling, educational, organisational and research careers. Read our guide on the scope of psychology in Pakistan.
List your top three options, then check each one for: entry requirements and your chance of admission, how long it takes, what the work really involves day to day, and what the job market looks like. Speak to a graduate from each field. If you feel stuck, stressed or pulled in different directions, career counseling for students can help you sort it out. “I am truly grateful to Ms. Tasmiya Asghar and the team at Meeting Matters. I reached out during one of the most difficult periods of my life while dealing with grief and trying to be the best parent I could be for my children. Ms. Tasmiya's kindness, empathy, and guidance helped me navigate emotions that often felt overwhelming. She helped me understand my feelings, regain perspective, and think through practical ways of supporting my children and myself. I always felt respected, heard, and comfortable during our sessions. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Tasmiya Asghar and Meeting Matters to anyone going through a challenging time and looking for professional support in a compassionate environment.”
