About Alya

Alya Riaz is a Certified Humanistic Integrative Therapist with over 15 years of professional experience. She holds a Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling from CPCAB (UK) and works with a hospice hospital in Toronto.

She brings a compassionate, client-centred approach to individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures. With extensive international experience, she works with clients based mostly in the USA and Canada, and in other parts of the world, on emotional well-being, trauma, grief and bereavement, personal growth and life transitions.

She understands the particular challenges of living abroad: balancing traditional values with modern life, coping with expectations, and navigating identity and relationship questions.

Her integrative style draws on Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt, CBT techniques and Mindfulness-based practices, so that each client's needs shape the work, in a safe and supportive space for healing and self-discovery.

She provides support in: emotional well-being, trauma, grief and bereavement, life transitions, personal growth, cultural adjustment, living abroad, identity exploration, relationship challenges, stress management, emotional regulation and self-discovery.

Sessions are online, Monday to Saturday, 6 PM to 11 PM.
