Before an overseas client ever asks about therapeutic approach or credentials, the first practical question is almost always scheduling: "How does this even work with a 4 to 13 hour time difference?" It's a reasonable concern, and it's one we've built our booking process around directly.
Working Around the Time Difference
Pakistan Standard Time sits well ahead of most places our overseas clients call home — roughly 4-5 hours ahead of the UK, 9-10 hours ahead of the US East Coast, and around 1 hour behind the UAE. In practice, this usually means an evening session for us lines up with a late morning or afternoon slot for clients in London or Toronto, and clients on the US East Coast often prefer an early-morning Pakistan-time slot that lands in their previous evening.
What We Actually Offer Clients Abroad
Booking requests are accepted 24/7, and our team confirms availability within 30 minutes regardless of when you send it — you don't need to be awake during Pakistan business hours just to book. From there, we work with you directly to find a recurring slot that actually fits your schedule, not a generic time you have to adjust your life around.
Picking a Time That Actually Works Long-Term
The biggest scheduling mistake overseas clients make isn't picking the "wrong" time zone conversion — it's picking a time slot that works once but isn't sustainable weekly. Therapy works best with consistency, so we usually recommend settling on a recurring slot (same day, same time each week) rather than re-negotiating a new time every session.
A Few Practical Tips From Clients Who've Done This
Clients who've been doing this for a while tend to agree on a few things: a private room with a door that closes matters more than a fancy setup, headphones help even on a good connection, and blocking the slot in your calendar as "unavailable" prevents the usual work-meeting creep. We regularly work with clients in London, Toronto, Houston and Dubai, so if you're based in one of these places, there's already a rhythm that's worked for others in your time zone.
