What is individual counseling?

One-on-one sessions between a client and a qualified therapist or counsellor are known as individual counselling, sometimes referred to as therapy or psychotherapy. Through a collaborative approach, the counsellor offers the client resources, support, and advice to help them deal with personal issues, create coping mechanisms, and strive towards personal development and positive change.

How does individual counselling differ from other forms of therapy?

Individual counselling varies from other types of therapy in that it focuses entirely on the individual’s issues and aspirations, as opposed to incorporating several participants, such as couples or group therapy. It enables customised treatment and solutions that are designed to meet each person’s unique requirements.

What issues or concerns can individual counselling help with?

Individual counselling may assist with a variety of difficulties and concerns, such as anxiety, depression, stress management, marital problems, grief and loss, trauma, self-esteem, and personal development.

It’s been quite a learning experience for me. Thanks to my psychologist, I have much better understanding of myself now. Aisha Hakim Aisha Hakim 2024-01-14 I am satisfied with their services and counselling they give is outstanding
.. High - 5 High – 5 2024-01-13 I had a very good experience with meeting matter. Recommended Maryam Hamid Maryam Hamid 2024-01-11 I had the best experience with meeting matters. Dr Mashal babar is a wonderful person. She understands exactly what you are going through and gives your the perfect solution for it. I highly recommend doctor mashal 👍 Areeba Aslam Areeba Aslam 2024-01-07 I approached this course with initial reservations, but upon completion, I am unequivocally convinced that the investment was worthwhile. The program is structured into two levels, namely LEVEL 1 and LEVEL 2, and I opted for the advanced Level 2 course. The instructional approach fundamentally transformed my understanding of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). The instructional team exhibited exemplary cooperation throughout, providing comprehensive explanations supported by illustrative examples.
The pedagogical methodology incorporated role-playing exercises, facilitating a nuanced comprehension of therapist-client dynamics. Disorders, as stipulated in the curriculum, were not merely theoretical concepts but were elucidated through practical applications and real-world scenarios. Practical exposure was extended through opportunities to engage with authentic clients, thereby bridging the transition from theoretical understanding to practical implementation.
This course transcends the perfunctory nature often associated with educational endeavors, offering a genuine and sophisticated platform for professional development. It is tailored for individuals seeking to augment their proficiency in psychology, particularly within the realm of CBT. I wholeheartedly recommend this course to those earnestly aspiring to make significant contributions to the field of psychology, as it redefines CBT from a basic therapeutic modality to an advanced and integral facet of psychological practice. Dr Kanwal Dr Kanwal 2024-01-03 “I really feel connected to my therapist miss mishaal babar and I feel that she has been such a benefit to my life. I have learned new coping skills and ways to help myself through issues.”
“I loved my experience and I have been able to work through much of my past issues with depression and anxiety and I am really thankful to miss aniqa she is such a nice and humble personality. Highly recommended🩶 Irshad Khan Irshad Khan 2023-12-31 The experience with meeting matters was truly commendable. The professionalism is of paramount importance and the environment is purely homely and client friendly. The administrative employees are also proficient and responsible besides being hospitable. Overall a very accomodative set up.
The therapist was very intelligent and supportive. Her methodical approach for problem solving is highly appreciated. She was humble, docile and listening to client with full concentration and correlating with the subject, which is highly appreciated. In the beginning, it appeared to me that the problem was not solveable but the interest and passion of the therapist made it resolved. She has been a key to success and revival. Within the short span of couple of months, I have been able to fight back with myself and regain control of my emotions, will power and determination, the personality strength and self esteem.. All this is attributable to the highly respectable therapist (no one else but Madam Iqra). My sincere prayers and best wishes for her and the complete team of the Meeting Matters. May they be blessed for great services to mankind. Google rating score: 4.8 of 5, based on 169 reviews
